The Tenango is now a classic

When we think of a "work of art," our minds immediately envision a painting or a sculpture. However, there are other wonderful techniques and pieces like Tenango; a handmade work by artisans that involves embroidery and a lot of creativity. These Tenangos tell stories (from a community celebration to their flora and fauna), all while respecting and honoring their Otomi culture. At Someone Somewhere, we are captivated by them, and that's why we decided to delve deeper and experiment with the Tenango de Doria community.

One of the most enjoyable and interesting processes at Someone Somewhere is the artisanal co-design process, practically where all the magic happens before creating the prototypes that will later become final products. Specifically for the logo sweatshirts and t-shirts, a very interesting process was carried out; a interplay between art pieces (Tenangos) and templates with our logo. The logo was placed on the Tenango to abstract some parts of it and thus create our collection.

We definitely couldn't have such complete collections without the testing and creative process. Now our logo collection is a classic, so you'll find it in different colors and seasons. For now, you can dive into what we have available here.
