Summer Destinations: Don't know where to travel this summer? We recommend!

One of the best things about Mexico is the incredible variety and quantity of places full of culture, beautiful landscapes, and delicious food. If you haven't decided where to travel this upcoming holiday, we recommend three destinations that should be on your list of options.

Mazunte

Of course, we had to start with a beach. Mexico has many of the most beautiful beaches in the world, and outside of Tulum and Cancun, Mazunte is a more adventurous destination. If you choose this option, we recommend a road trip through Oaxaca for a couple of nights (in my opinion, where the best food is), continuing to Puerto Escondido and finally Mazunte. It will be many hours on the road, but they pass quicker with a good playlist and comfortable clothes.

Holbox

It is an island in northern Quintana Roo that is only 42 kilometers long. Unlike Mazunte, the sea in Holbox is extremely calm. You can walk up to a kilometer in, and the water level will still reach your waist. It is a destination for relaxation, as nightlife is not its strong suit. With clear turquoise waters and fish swimming with you along the shore, Holbox is the best option for those who want to forget the stress of the city for a few days.

Guanajuato

Streets full of color and history. That's how I would describe Guanajuato in the briefest way, although there are really too many options of things to do here. From visiting archaeological zones to immersing yourself in its artistic events and cultural festivals, Guanajuato has something for all tastes. You can walk through the streets with Baroque and neoclassical architecture while deciding whether to see the mummies or go to dinner at one of its picturesque restaurants.
