Someone Somewhere is a proudly Latin American company, and in celebration of Hispanic pride, we're launching a collection that pays homage to this wonderful culture! Have you discovered the Hispanic Collection yet? In this blog, we'll tell you what inspired us and what makes this limited edition special.
Latin America represents more than just a geographical area; the ways we do and think are guided by the principle of "Buen Vivir" (Good Living), and this philosophy is expressed in our colors, customs, festivals, traditions… in everything! It is one of the regions with the greatest wealth in cultural, natural, and historical assets, and its charm inspired us to create the new Hispanic Tees.
Without a doubt, in Latin America, we are a global benchmark for joy and warmth, fascinating with our exceptional beauty. With these shirts, we want to recognize the true nuances that represent Hispanic culture, and also celebrate the heritage and everything that defines us. Our essence is perceived in every corner of Latin America, in the expressions that captivate us such as music, dances, handicrafts, the architecture of its buildings, and the unique vibe and rhythm experienced in the daily life of its streets and, of course… the exquisite gastronomy.
For the creation of each Hispanic Tee, we took elements from typical Hispanic life to transport you to this magical atmosphere. The collection is made up of three designs with artisanal intervention known as Chain Stitch Embroidery, which consists of inserting and pulling out the needle point by point, line by line, to create the design of each figure. It was made by Mexican hands in a community of artisans in Naupan, Puebla.
Sabores T-shirt represents an essential scene when visiting Latin America: the most authentic food and drinks are found at the stalls scattered on the streets; a mobile culinary culture is a unique way to enjoy these delicacies, offering us unique flavors and memorable experiences.
Memorias T-shirt is a synthesis of all the stories and anecdotes that have been built through the years by its inhabitants. The architectural aesthetic of the buildings makes it possible to imagine amateur musicians singing joyful songs, artists coloring canvases, or surfers recalling the day's exploits... the balcony as a window to the life that passes each day in the picturesque towns of Latin America.
Palma T-shirt is an example of how to live well, you have to have fun. Enjoying the small moments that life gives us is very important to make this life experience as pleasant as possible. It is a fortune to be able to live in or have access to tropical paradises like those in Latin America. With this T-shirt, we want to take you to a beach scene, sitting in front of the sea, in the shade of a palm tree, feeling the breeze on your face… representing this lifestyle on a T-shirt.
It's worth noting that they are made from recycled materials, significantly contributing to the environmental impact of the planet, but we'll tell you more about that in the next blog...
